Search the library
ابحث في المكتبة
Open the EPSG Library and type an EPSG code, a name (for example "Egypt Red Belt"), a country or a UTM zone in Search CRS / EPSG, or browse by region.

Each page shows the Summary, Definition (datum, ellipsoid, prime meridian, projection method, axes), Area of use, Projection parameters and worked Example coordinates.

Under Definitions and downloads, download the .prj file (for Shapefiles, ArcGIS and QGIS) or the .wkt definition, or copy the PROJ string.

Use it in a conversion

Open EPSG Finder (Coordinate Transformation → EPSG mode) to convert directly with that system, or see the country pages for Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Qatar.

Tips and common mistakes · نصائح وأخطاء شائعة
WGS 84 is a datum ensemble with about 2 m accuracy; precise work should name a realization such as ITRF2014.
